CEO, Director

Adrian brings a wealth of experience in risk management to the Amius Group. He began his career in the early 90’s with Bankers Trust before moving to Barclays, where he ran the Exotic Currency Options business. From there he moved to Rabobank where he served as Global Head of Options and then to Refco Overseas Ltd and later MF Global. In 2009, he left his position as Global Head of Agricultural Derivatives at JP Morgan to form Armajaro OTC Limited in partnership with Armajaro. Adrian then founded Amius in 2011.

Alan Ng

CTO, Director

Alan has a PhD in Computational Fluid Dynamics. He began his working career developing risk and pricing platforms for equity derivative structured products at Deutsche Bank in London, before working as a Quantitative Risk Analyst at MF Global. In 2008, he moved to a role as Business Technologist for Agricultural Commodities at JP Morgan before taking on his current responsibilities at Amius.

Matthias Bormann

CFO, Director

Matthias previously served as CFO of Armajaro Trading Limited and Group Treasurer of the Armajaro Group. Prior to that, he worked in the commodity finance divisions of Standard Chartered Bank and WestLB and before that in the audit and business advisory practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in London and Frankfurt. Matthias is a qualified accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).

Matt Simons

Head of Operations & Risk

Prior to his current role, Matt worked for Ineos, BP, Staples Inc., Credit Suisse and Barclays in a broad range of commercial finance and operational roles. He is a qualified Management Accountant and member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).

Jessica Hayim

Global Head of Sales

Jessica joined Amius in 2011 after finishing her studies in Business Management (BSc) at The University of Birmingham. She has been pivotal in establishing Amius’ London Sales operation as well as our growing overseas presence in Singapore and Latin America. Jessica manages the sales team globally, and is responsible for growing a network of clients, in addition to actively managing a number of these client relationships, with a focus on the cocoa sector.
